President Bush Stands Alone

Congratulations to the President for (rightfully) being named Time Magazine's 2004 Person of the Year. The AP report points out that he is the first individual named for the honor since Rudy Giuliani in 2001.

I'm relieved he beat out the Mel Gibson/Michael Moore alternative. As important a comment on American society as those two films were, I think I speak for a lot of us in saying that we need a bit more time to heal before reading another derogatory and out of touch analysis of Christianity and conservative Christians in a major newsweekly.
